Issue 2 of a zine produced by the Up Against the Law Collective, an underground radical legal rights group, whose publication ran sporadically between 1972-5. A very funny and useful guide with details on legal representation; how to defend yourself in court; being criminally gay; and a vast (though presumably incomplete) glossary of crooked and nasty cops, named and shamed. Heavily involved in the collective were members of the Stoke Newington 8 Defence Group, advocates and legal representatives of the eight members of The Angry Brigade, the radical-left British terrorist group responsible for a string of bombings in England between 1970 and 1972.
