1966 edition of The Love Book, landmark of San Francisco literature, written by American poet Lenore Kandel (1932-2009). “To Fuck with Love", one of four poems in this small pamphlet, violated then-governor Ronald Reagan’s state obscenity codes, leading to this pamphlet’s classification as hard-core pornography, mass confiscation by police, and Kandel’s immediate albeit short-lived fame in San-Francisco.
Good condition: some wear to spine and covers, minor foxing on inside cover.
